Well I am not sure I am quite up for this type of quality sword swallowing shenanigans but I am a great pin cushion for voodoo witchdoctors, so it is something I can aspire to! Not sure why your aim is off, have you checked the throwing knives weight, so they are perfectly balances and poised to be thrown???? Do i want a demonstration and should I be the crash test dummy? This write shows your a swashbuckler, fencing off with quills and your nibs certainly hit the mark with this piece! Just remind me if I am ever to meet you, to get out the riot gear the night before... :)

Nicely written. Short, sharp, and to the "point." I believe you're on the "cutting" edge of genius here. It's depth and deeper meaning, cut me to the bone. Nothing needs to be chopped. Stands on its own and sticks in one's mind.

Hi Debra. I'm LOL! That sword thrower better pay well that's all I've got to say. I enjoyed reading this. I'm glad you joined in to Picture This. Looking forward to reading more. Marilyn

    Thank you, Marilyn :) I enjoyed writing this one - I wanted to think outside the box with it, that's why it took me a while to actually post. Glad you enjoyed :) Best wishes as always, Debra

I totally loved this, the rhyming words are very well done and I love the way you made the limerick go with the picture. It is perfect. I had my daily chuckle

I sure hope this isn't your Plan B, Debra, in case the impending interview doesn't go well!! Wherever in the world did you find this photo?! And is that what inspired the limerick? (Terrific rhyme and meter, btw. Absolute perfection!)

    Hi Rachelle :) Thanks for your great feedback. The picture was provided by the Pix This challenge group... I thought I'd give it a humorous twist! My plan B definitely wouldn't be in the sword throwing line of work!
    Best wishes as always, Debra :) x

    Phew!! (Plan B could be "a baker." Think of the enormous cakes you could cut with swords THAT big!!)

Yeah....this is one interview I will not be signing up for any time soon, ma'am! :) Like that you took this on a humorous twist, Debra -- should have expected such with your sunshine attitude! ;) ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Nope, I don't enjoy stab wounds. So I'll pass on this job offer. I wish you luck in finding serious responses to this job advertisement :)

I enjoyed your limerick. Well written with a nice lilt in each line that sings along. Nice cheeky feel to it all that gives the limerick that naughty-ness. Good picture to set the tone.

Well done.

Joy xx

very funny; illustration is a good combo for your limerick

I am not volunteering to be the assistant for whatever the pay scale is; my spouse might say it is OK if my insurance policy paid millions for the bad throw LOL

although your rhyme scene uses 'ant', consistent is the correct spelling - although I am bit hesitant to critique your funny post (-;
