A great choice using the Rain forest umbrella of foliage for your TriQuatrain Trisha. I love both the cute artwork and your words.
Nicely done,
cheers,

Very sad topic, but unfortunately realistic. We have to do something quick or we'll have no planet to live on quite soon.
Thanks so much for sharing this poem. The topic is an important one.

?We? are reactive not proactive. People smoke until they can?t breathe, why would we take notice until it affects the world Thanks for reviewing.

Okay, now this is a format I'm not familiar with,Trisha, but you've done a good just using it to highlight the rain forest (jungles, we used to call them - lol!). :) ;) Now, if you're OCD (like me), you should pop back in there and eliminate the extra line spacing between stanzas one and two.... otherwise, don't worry about it and I promise to try not to lose sleep over it tonight...LOL! ;) :) Yvette :)

A very well-written Triquatrain poem about the green umbrella in the forest that provides oxygen to us humans to breathe and when that is gone we will all find our death.

I appreciated your review

An interesting form. It is said the rain forest is under attack. Man tries to conquer I guess. We see it around here as the folks from Calif. move in, try to change our small town liveability.
Good reminder.

I like the topics that you are writing about lately, Trisha. You are writing about things that matter to you--that matter to the world. The demise of the rain forest does disturb nature's balance. Repercussions are not confined to the rain forest. Your comment about the four layers of green umbrella is interesting. I had never heard about any layers.
Nice job, Trisha. I'm proud of you for writing so well under all those restrictions.

The rain forests are being protected and there is some restriction to make sure that all the trees are not depleted, maybe we need more legislation as we humans are greedy, this is an interesting write Trisha, I liked 'the green umbrella' love Dolly x

Yes, us humans have to smarten up. Mother Nature will always win in the end. We know we'll end up in big trouble if we continue with the destruction. Where's the intelligence? No amount of money will help if we don't have air and water.

Thank you for your review. Yes, it?s known, but nothing will be done until it gets too late. The human race tends to be reactive, not proactive. Shame!

This is a very interesting and original take on the 'umbrella' challenge. Your rhyming is very good, and you met all the requirements of the Triquatrain. Nice job. Thanks for participating.
