Oh, good interpretation of the image for this post of Picture This, Trisha. Passion is passion no matter how we look at it. You've described it well here. Love the title, "Royal Flush." Perfect. Marilyn

The truth is I haven't got a clue what to write about this one, but I like your interpretation very much.
My favourite verse is the last.
Thanks so much for sharing.

I often have the same problem! Usually an idea pops up while I?m doing other things. I?m glad you enjoyed my idea. Thanks for your kind review

A very well-written poem about the picture for the pix-this challenge. Red seems to be the chosen color to express passion in many ways, it is a warm color that everyone seems to like.

In this poem the author speaks about the effect and feeling viewing the art, colour, reunification of memories; well said, well done. Keep writing -- DR ALCREATOR

Wow, Trisha -- you've done a wonderful job of addressing the height of human sexuality with a poise and even grace... I enjoyed your 'free verse sprinkle with rhyme for impact' offering here - the unique approach is befitting the topic! ;) ;) Thanx for sharing, ma'am ... enjoyable as always! ;) ;) Yvette

Hello ducketlust
What a surprisie when I read your poem thinking it was winning a poker game with a Royal Flush, instead it's about sex and passion.

Hello, I liked this work. It is a very poetic description of the 'small death', lol. I think it is a tastefully written poem and the only suggestion I have is to check the spelling of gauge. It may be an American spelling and I'm an English speller, so I didn't let it interfere with this work, which I found a pleasure to read and review, cheers, Eve.
