Lovely fantasy poem of a magical, musical meeting of long ago but one that you're still seeking. It could be compared to life, looking for that magical, happy place. Nice one,
cheers,

Love the music of your poem, Yvonne. You have such well chosen rhymes and the wrapping of each quatrain is expertly done. The sense of yearning for that magical moment really comes through!

Great artwork choice. It really looks like the enchanted place you describe in your poem. You have a great description of this spot you remember. It is so true that we have lasting memories of those special childhood places.
The mysterious fellow with the flute proves very captivating, but he disappears. He's a Pan-like creature, one who entices people to these places in the words. Excellent work with your line turnabout. judi

Both from the piucture and the storyt in this poem it would appear you have been wandering in the Allt-y-Rhiw woodland of my recently posted short stories. These trees appear similarly twisted and by music 's magic too. These have to be sessile oaks. Apparently the national tree of Ireland.

Awww, so that's why the place was so mysterious. 8-) Thanks, Jim.

I like this a magical, mysterious wood. It looks like a place of romantic memories, too. Maybe a love song floated its way into your heart? A well penned poem, crowned with lovely art.
All my best,

There are such special places - a house by the sea - visiting a castle in Wales where the air was actually greenish blue it seemed. A brilliant day - the sun lighting up the castle - and someone playing Welsh choir music. Yes, I'd like to go to that place again.

Awe, Yvonne, this is not only a magic poem you've written but it is so poetically beautiful. You create the sweetest of atmosphere. What can I say? I was there and saw it all. Warm regards. Ulla:)))

Do you suppose that is the guy who went through Hamelin and piped out the rats and brats? Just kidding...there are places that puzzle psychologists with their aura....excellent poem.

I love this presentation, Yvonne. Your words flow smoothly with super rhymes. I remember the first part of this story. This one picks up and adds so much to that one. Where would this be if not for the first one. I can feel the way the one on the poem is longing to find that place again. The font, the picture, the rhymes, and the message all work together to create a great and memorable read. Thanks for sharing. Jan
