There is something calming about the nightlights that I think we often forget about. You did a great job and it's a good reminder for all of us to go out and enjoy them

Thanks. There's nothing like stargazing on a warm summer night.

This lune poem, Nightlights, has the proper formatting and suggests that a haze of the cosmos can change what is flickering light into a message of peace from the universe. Nice.

Thanks. Perhaps the message is simply to enjoy their beauty.

Your poem is a lovely reminder that even in the darkest night, when we can feel bleak and alone, soft starlight can be a comfort and make us feel that everything will be ok. I like your simple poem of reassurance.

This is a very well penned entry for the upcoming Lune Poetry Contest, Cindy.
A Lune, while displaying very few words, must convey vivid imagery and a clear, concise message.
'Neath a bulbous moon,
lovers swoon--
daylight's coming soon.
Yours most certainly fits the bill.
Best wishes to you in the final judging.

Hi Cindy! I think I'm going to opt for the bright starlight... that means you aren't near any artificial light, towns, cities, that type of thing... to dim the stars with all that unnatural light brightening up the sky. :) Nice poem, nice feeling. :)

Thanks. I have to admit the stars look nicer away from the city.

So true. This is a lovely Lune poem for the contest. There's nothing like a starry night with the moon residing that can make you feel safe. Good luck in the contest. Ulla:)))

You are so right, a clear starlit night has such a soothing effect that you do feel everything is right with the world. If only it could be that easy. This is an excellent Lune poem and a well-written contest entry. Good luck! :)) Sandra xx

Starlight, in its way, is like sunlight by day, it lifts the spirits when cloud and fog are gone. I do not know the details of lune construction, but this looks fine to me.

Thanks. What would we do without the stars at night?
