Your poem stood out for me ..every baby should be wanted , loved and protected exactly how you imagined your parents must have felt about you.
I love how you formulated your thoughts .. every verse describes an important moment in the life of the newborn as for his/her parents.
We are the product of our experiences and if a child grows up in a loving , caring protective environment it's most likely that they in return will show the same love, warmth and protection to their offspring.
I think your poem is full of beautiful sentiments worthy to win the contest .

Kids and parents may not always have the best relationship but in the end they are always our parents. I have always said that I was their perfect kid, that's why they stopped after me. My brother and sister always fight me on it but I know the truth. lol

I enjoyed the way you looked at love through the eyes from your birth to two parents that loved you. How you felt that love all the time without any pause. Beautiful! We adopted our 3 children and I hope this is how they felt when they came to us.

Good loving parents are as much of a miracle as the baby. Selfless love is taught and carried from generation to generation. It helps build a person's confidence.
