This is so unique in that you named so many of the known gunfighters of the Old West. I'm impressed with your rhyming words within each stanza. I'm not should I could have pulled that off half as well as you.
Your author notes were just as exceptional as your poem.

This was a fresh twist! I could see almost everyone of the cowboys you mention. Some in black and white I might say! Then they learned how to color black and white so now I can't
remember who was when. But I do like this poem!

Good Job on the poem. I enjoyed your rhymes and flow. You've managed to squeeze a lot of name into that. I have to say I had not heard of a few of the names so I am glad you gave us the explanations at the end.

As a young fella there was no one happier to sit down and watch one of those now legendary wild west movies than me. Those gunman, lawman, killers and crooks kept me entertained for years. It is a shame they don't make many quality westerns anymore. Nice poem friend, good Luck!

This is definitely a poem about cowboys! I love how you pull in all those beloved cowboys of old. My childhood was filled with stories of rootin tootin cowboy shootin! This was very enjoyable!

This certainly meets the contest requirements with gusto! I am pretty sure you did not miss a single important cowboy in your litany of western warriors.
