You got my point ..
.. I don't like snow .. It's great to see from inside but then you have to deal with it during the day ...
The only thing that I treasure in Winter are the evenings making the fire , watching the flames in the dark flicker while laying on my couch with a pet or two and pondering life.
It's an overwhelming feature of my evenings in Winter..I couldn't do without it.

Hello there, this is a lovely Winter entry. You presented a comforting image in my mind watching the fire on a gloomy winter day. Hmmm. ya know it's Spring here, but I feel it's still cold and gloomy so much rain. I still put my fireplace on every day. I do love a real wood fire though, I would prefer it. I was wondering if you ever made a fire ?
It's work but there is so much payback , so much joy tin watching the flames dance and glow in the dark
..the sound the fire makes ..it kinda roars....when you put in a new log .
And as I'm watching this overwhelming vision on the couch my mind starts pondering .....
... the flames remind me of the mythical Phoenix that burns and rises from its ashes , as someone new.

I don't like the cold and even less the snow.
What gets me through the long winter season are those evenings spent making the fire .....there is nothing more peaceful then laying down every night on the couch and watching the fire flicker while I ponder life.
Time out to just stop rushing behind chores and duties and think about my inner self.

That's about the only thing I love about Winter is my fireplace .
It 's work cleaning out the ash and piling the wood but then I do love watching the flames in the dark , the sound it makes when you put a new log in ..
.....And then huddling up on the couch with my pets and thinking about all sorts of things ..
