Hahahahha, Maria Jose this is just too funny. Where the heck do you get it from? What a wonderful little flush and a great surprise ending. I love it. Good luck in the contest. All the best. Ulla:)))

No idea where this idea came from...
Thanks for reading.

This is very clever. I wondered where you were going with it. Good luck in the competition. You write some really lovely short stuff and I always enjoy reading them.

Thanks for your kind review, Judy.

I didn't even have time to figure out the ending because this one was really short. I'll bet I might have been able to if there had been more clues. Then, again, maybe I'm just getting cocky, LOL. Hugs, Lou

LOL. Personifying our purses now? OMG, the stories mine would tell. Quick, has anybody got some duct tape? Funny, Maria. Best of luck in the contest with this one. :)

You're very welcome. I am SO far behind. But I always try to return-review if I can. *sigh* If I have to let something slide I prefer it's my own replies, you know? We count on the reviews. The 'social aspect' -- to me, anyway -- while 'nice', isn't as important. We have FB for that. :))

It's difficult to keep up. FS is a full time job. ;)

It can be, if we let it. More than once I've had someone get their knickers in a twist. Once, a long time ago, VERY badly (and it resulted in months of harassment and the loss of a friend).
But like anything else, "to thine on self be true". Anytime FS becomes a chore, it's time to do something else, take a break. I do it all the time -- I have since I started, although most people would tell you I don't. But they would be wrong. It just so happens that I write a LOT. I'm not intentionally posting twice a day. Sometimes I could post four or five pieces for a day if the site allowed. Other times I'll take a break to go out, get off my laptop.
I guess what I'm saying is, as much as I feel bad to lag behind (and I really do), I can't let others determine how long I'm on site, no matter what. I already don't get enough exercise, and it affects my CPS as well as poor circulation.
But there are some members who like to 'judge', say it's rude not to reply, at least say 'thank you', and so on. I say I would rather give them a review (IF I have to choose between the two).

In fact, my friend, I seldom even engage in this kind of 'chat' because it eats into the time I can be here. (My legs are bad; get very painful if I sit too long.) But once in a while I just can't help myself. I have made some wonderful friends, thanks to FS, and I consider them real friends, too. :))

Likewise...

We shouldn't judge anybody... I'm with you.

A very well-written poem dribble flash fiction from the handbag's point of view. To carry all those heavy stuff in her belly makes her veryou grumpy especially when she is not acknowledged.

'The life of a handbag'...true hardship.
Love this delightful flas-fiction Miss
Maria! Should do well.
I bet my handbag really complains.
She's used for day-to-day use...but
never the parties.
She stays home like Cinderella.
Ah well.
Love it!
Blessings...

I love handbags and have too many. I'm sure mine complain about the unceremonious way I stack them.
Thanks for reading.

With me it used to be shoes...now it's eye-glasses, ha ha. So far I've got burgandy, rose, and wireframe...aiming for red and blue next year!

:) I only have one pair and hardly ever use them. But I love shopping for clothes, shoes...

I love shopping! Ha ha....have a lovely week!

My goodness you got me again
This is not the way I thought your poem was going
Which is great. To get a reading in surprise is the best way I think a writer truly got the bug and my dear you got the bug and may you never lose it

Haha... I love your personification of a handbag. The emotive elements are well written and express frustration and dissatisfaction with being used. Great job with this, Maria.
