Great reading once again. Have missed you. Glad you are back. I have made use of some Tables in Louise's Index and Introduction in her book and also on the Acknowledgement page of my biography over in sankey. Just a couple of spags this time. The answer might (be) there.

paper on the st(ee)[ir]ring wheel.

Mac is really jumpy, but maybe it's because of Simon's warning. Even the person who bumped into caused her to feel uneasy. She's probably right, because it may turn out that it wasn't an accident. Logan seems to have taken over the housekeeping chores for Mac. That's really neat. I can't understand why people take a notion and go off jogging just like that. Not a good move for Mac, if she needs to be looking over her shoulder. He still can't figure out who might be behind doctoring her drink. Maybe Mr. Whitmore's strange activities will have some bearing on what happened to Logan's sister. Great work with your development. judi

I know a lot of people who solve or attempt to solve their problems by running, but running away doesn't solve the problem. Thank you for the kind review.

Personally, I can't see that running is worth all the time people spend doing it. To me there are better things to do! judi

I hope you're resting. Sleep does wonders for whatever ails you. I'm feeling SO much better since my computer broke and I can't stay on all night, but sleep instead. I have twice the energy. Sleep is good medicine!

I wonder who might be wanting to harm Max...?

I was stupid in a no stupid zone. <-- I love this line! :)

One can see that Mack is in some sort of a mood, she was deeply affected by Simon's remarks, but thinking the way she does, all of a sudden her life is being turned upside down, and a shrink may be able to explain what's going on, but her equalibrium is shot. Well done Barbara, great episode, blessings, Roy

Hi Barbara. I liked this chapter although McKenzie sounds rather sour. I hope she's getting closer to what she's looking for. I only found one thing.
The answer might there.= The answer might be there.
All the best. Ulla:)))

Hello Barb
What an interesting chapter, what is going on with McKenzie she is acting strange? I like how you describe of what is taking place with her, especially,

when McKenzie's eyes widened and her heart pounded, but said, "It's okay." She turned toward the parking garage. I'm not safe anywhere. She stopped and took a few deep breaths.

Gert

The answer might there. I doubt any of
Interesting write I find it to be plus a romance seems to be heading into deep water. I do hope she is able to come up with something that will send things humming. Good one, Barb.

Ouch, Barbara! I wonder if this is some kind of side effect from whatever that drug was that she was given... It sure was a doozy! I wonder if it could have had some kind of post-hypnotic properties? That would be a fun twist... the people who wanted to kidnap her could have made her think whatever they wanted, about whatever case it was that they were worried about, and instead she gets paranoid and upset about people trying to kill her... because that was what she was hearing when she was unconscious... concern over her safety. (Oh I just love the medical field and all the repercussions that drugs can have when you write fiction! LOL)
I expect my mind is running amock with me and you're going in an entirely different direction with her tears... maybe she's pregnant! LOL... who knows! That's the fun with stories of course... well, whatever it is, I can't wait to find out! :)
