Love acrostic and to rhyme acrostic, even better. Such a joyful, clean, flowing piece. This is very well done with a beautiful photo to match to make the overall effect quite lovely. Great job!

Wonderful message in your acrostic poem - we all need to reach out and encourage one another. And then you rhymed this acrostic PLUS added a messge using the first word of every line! Great job!

    Aw, thank you so much!! I value your input! Did you notice the hidden sentence running straight down the poem? I mentioned it in author's notes. Maybe I need to put that clue just under the body of the poem?

You're quite right - the encouragement of people sending letters, visiting, bringing a handful of fresh flowers to someone who is down, or the elderly a good thing. Or even just listening to them tell tales.
Good poem.

Tina, This is a very well written acrostic poem using the word encouragement. I believe it helps most all people to be encouraged in the world we live in now. This poem of yours is such a skilful combination of image and truism and intent... cause and effect. I love the artistic aspect of it, the painting references, and your skill in giving us 2 avenues to understand how encouragement can transform.
Your hidden sentence emphasises the poem's content:
"Expressive notes cause optimism, ultimately rewarding another's grateful emotion meanwhile encouraging necessary transformation" - a sentiment with which I totally concur.

    You asked about the sentence in your notes. I wonder why other reviewers did not respond to that. It would be a pity to have to resort to bolding the words but some people are a bit thick and might appreciate that.

    Thank you, Dolly, for the review. I was actually saying that encouragement to someone is almost like giving them a new painting on their heart. I am here to learn, so please let me know if that message didn't quite come across, ok?

Hi, Tina. You can be proud of this poem, my friend. It is well written and a good acrostic. I liked these lines in particular:

"Ultimately a heart's frown is changed"

And: "Another's brightened soul will cry"

No one has commented on that and I didn't know if it didn't make sense or if it even was understood that there's a sentence going down as well. I would appreciate your input on that.     No, I am referering to the first word of each line, when read from top to bottom ,is a different sentence about encouragement. I may need to bold the whole first word of every line... Thanks for your input!
