Oh God lololol! A common enough mistake, but the tears of sorrow being replaced with tears of joy when she got her own glasses brought a big, wide grin lol! And yes, what's yours is not always mine...or the other way round. Thanks for the laugh!!

Hey there, Gypsy!! :) ;) Thanx so much for dropping in on this one -- and even though it could never happen to my husband and I, I could so see it happening to others!! ;) ;) Take care! ;) Yvette

I cannot believe I did this MRW but for you BT I held on this week and I saved a 6 I also wanted to give them out just before the midnight hour as a shock! I loved and adored your dribble flash! Also who better than the CQ to award the 6! Hope this is a spectacular Saturday for you Yvette! Cheers!!! Fonda

Been there and done that but this is the first time I've read it, Yvette. I couldn't find my glasses. Got a smile out of your fifty word shorty. This is a good entry for the Dribble Flash Fiction contest.

Such a sweet, sweet story. It speaks to not only how love can be demonstrated, but how love can be as simple as a good trick on your partner. It makes you feel wanted while deep inside assured of their love .

LOL! I've put on my hubby's glasses many times and had the same reaction. With diabetes, my eyesight is getting blurry. I just got new glasses last year and already need new ones. First step, see a specialist for diabetes to get that under control. Then, new glasses. Getting old is a lot of work, especially when we're tired and weary and just want to rest. :)

Oh, my goodness -- too much work sometime, yeah?! :) ;) Got the crazy idea when two of my students showed up with new glasses (different classes/grade levels) with the same glasses! :) ;) Didn't have my usual time this week for 'thinking up stuff' since I'm barely keeping all the balls in the air, but it worked, ya know?!! ;) :) Take care! ;) Yvette

My dear wipe has myopic vision, although I now wear glasses, my sight was normal until I discovered I had trouble reading music in subdued light. So there's no way I could wear Elaine's glasses and see, I really would think something was wron heh heh. This is very clever Ycette, good luck in the contest, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy

O, such a sweet story...When people are aging they forget things...
She had lost her glasses and was afraid her eyesight had deteriorated.,,
What a relieve she could see again. A very well written story. Fia

This is sad and it is humorous and it happens more often than people think. I know for it has happened to me. Though our spectacle's look nothing alike I have just picked up the first pair I came to.

A very well-written heartfelt dribble flash fiction. It reminds me also of the story about the dentures that got switched, there are certain things in life that only one person can use successfully.

Cute story - well done. And I can sure see it happening. As we age, we lose thing s- keys, purse, wallet, phones. It's good if you can laugh about it. Why not? There's little you can do about these changes.
