Hi Brett. Brought back memories of being on the ground floor of the women's movement in the 70's. Did you know that women at that time couldn't have their own credit? It was tied to their husband's status, not their own. I remember arguing with Sears that I wanted my own credit card and they said they couldn't do that. I was working full time at night as a waitress while going to college part time in the daytime. I had two kids. Our marches were serious, but not violent or obnoxious as the women we see arguing for their cause today. We were firm in our demands for equality, but kept it lawful and in good humor. The worst we did was sometimes go bra-less. Thanks for pinpointing what's generally is assumed the time frame for the modern women's movement. Marilyn

Ms. magazine ({M}agazine should be capitalized.

Enter Molly MacGregor, an 11th-grade history teacher with a curious student. (sentence fragment)

Actually the name of the magazine is Ms. not Ms. Magazine. Nice attempt on a review though.

For your information 1972 wasn't "far back," :) I enjoyed reading your writing. I remember when that happened. I had to small children and didn't have time to pay much attention. Great job. Have a great night. Shirley

This was a very informative piece, Brett. I mean, after all, without women we wouldn't be here. I didn't know any of this info before now. Good job.

Hi Brett,

Very nicely written script about the history of the women's movement. Nothing for me to suggest you improve upon. Thanks for sharing. Jan
