I'm catless right now, but the neighbors cat comes over for company once in awhile. They definitely march to the beat of a different drummer. I could identify with all your scenarios. Regards, Bill

..so I lied.. LOL! This was so cute. Anyone who serves a cat who believes they are simply entitled to everything will relate to this. Well written. Within the bounds of the contest....well done. I don't really care for cats as a pet yet I have two that allow me to sit on my deck reading my paper as they occupy the two chairs facing the back yard and the bird bath.
Oh well, cats will be cats.

    Yes, it is often up to a cat to "allow" us to do things.

Dear Mystery Writer,

I get it. My outdoor kitty is amazing - she came with all the features and options of the perfect cat. hahahaha! She's the best mouser you could ever want - though she often tosses in a chipmunk or two just to please us. (Yuck)
