A very beautiful ode to dust and love. Loved how you described dust and the various places we find it in. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece. It was a pleasure reading.

A very well-written poem about the dust of the earth and it's purpose in our lives, we are merely dust and we will return to dusthe when we die. The dust on the furniturethane should reminds us of our immortality.

There is melancholy in this poem...it speaks of regrets and sadness as well as the wonderful way you wrote about dust...that tiny speck that is earth and heaven and all things in between. Your artwork is fantastic and speaks to your wondering if dust is a thing of dead fairies or exploding stars - I love that part. This is great work!

This is a very moving and thought-provoking poem. Your use of specific details--of possibilities for the meaning of dust--is impressive. Your examples move from
spiritual to simple/obvious to very deep.

I never knew that dust could be so poetic! I love your analogies of dust, and how is all around us, so insignificant, but at the same time significant! Good job!

This was a nice read, Sergeant Floyd. It had a good flow to it and the subtle emotions really came through. I liked the imagery you used as well. Nice job.

Wow... what a thought-provoking free verse! :) :) Love how you've taken the Dust of the season and laid it throughout our lives in places of importance and memories and given it meaning equivalent to that of roses in the 'important memories' of love! :) ;) Thanx for sharing! ;)

This poem is so expressively written: it has a sense of decay and loss and stagnation of past lives and activities, but with a light coating of dust over very precious memories that cannot obscure important things or tarnish the beauty of love.

What a beautiful write you have shared with us. I enjoyed reading this eloquently flowing verse about the memories of a love that seems to have gone away. You used a lovely description and presentation. Well done.
