A very well-written Trinet poem. The regal lilies are beautiful and they are always seems so white against the dark muddy ground thety flourish in. Indeed Jesus Christ is alive.

He has risen praise God, He has risen indeed! Where would we be if he hadn't? Totally lost and without hope. You've done a beautiful job using the beautiful lily to share with us about our risen Lord. Well done!

This is a great trinet poem to celebrate Easter--rebirth and Jesus--love the cross shape! Your words are descriptive and create great imagery, Melissa.
Thanks for sharing a beautiful Easter poem AND a beautiful poem regardless of date. Jan

How beautiful.
The picture, but most especially the thought.
I have a lot of lilies...now that's what I'll
think when they bloom!
Thank you!
Blessings...

Love your Easter message in your poem, Melissa! And white lilies bring Easter to mind for me, too. I wasn't sure that your syllable count fit your notes about the trinet as I count 2-3-10-9-3-3-3

Hi, Helen. In the Trinet, it is the word count that matters, not the syllable count. It is confusing, but I added it to the notes.

Oh, I see! Thanks for explaining, Melissa. I know you're an expert on all these forms so I wondered about the difference.

Yes! Trumpeting toward the sun -- what an awesome visual, Melissa, with no pic needed (although that is certainly a beautiful one) .... Easter is on the way! ;) Yvette

Very nice, Melissa. The thought of new birth through flowers and Christ is a wonderful one. I cannot wait until my Daffodils and Tulips sprout. right now, I would settle for some crocus rhough. LOL Bob

Hello, Bob. I am glad that you see the connection and enjoyed it. My first set of daffodils are blooming and crocus too...I am eagerly awaiting full time Spring to get here. I would like to give you congratulations on your award for Book of the Month... Well deserved.

A nice devotional poem. I didn't expect the ending. Good to hear. I am not too fond of seeing Jesus on the cross. I always thought His true message was there in His resurrection. She that we are not this body but pure spirit.

Hi, Yvon... I agree the message is the resurrection!! Thank you for the lovely review!

Many people see the cross as the symbol of Christ. It is actually a Roman torturing device. Forgiveness is the message as well.

I love how you said the lilies trumpeting towards the sun that Jesus Christ has risen! They do look like they could be announcing something and why not that the Lord has risen! Great correlation between, the Easter Lily and the resurrection of Jesus.

I am delighted that you like this verse, Kathleen. It may be a little early to put Easter verses out there, but never too early to talk about the Lord. Thank you.
