Date rate drug use is very popular in today's world. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is very good imagery and descriptive scheme.

Good interplay between the two protagonists here as they get to know each other in a weird coming together. Suspicion rules the day.

They are an unlikely couple, but I'm sure they will get on soon. He want's answers for his sisters death, and she wants them because she's been paid to get them. But, why was she drugged, who knew what she was doing there? Or was this really just a coincidence and it was a date rape drug? I have questions too, :) Well done, Barbara, the story is coming along beautifully. :) Sandra xx

If I didn't say it before I think Logan is taking a shine to McKenzie. This flows well and it is a wonderful introduction of Logan and McKenzie becoming a team, for finding the murder and for other things. Well done.

I loved this . You show don't tell which is good writing and had me hooked from start to finish. Murder mystery is not a genre I would usually be interested in but this has heart.
