Delicious imagery! What a beautiful presentation too. Tasteful and artistic. Outstanding phonetics in this polished 5-7-5. Extraordinary word economy too. I applaud all the S and soft C resonances and the subtle counterpoint of hard C and T. Loved reading this aloud. The consonance and alliteration of P is superb as well.
A six if I had one.

Great choice of background. And what an excellent image of a night with heavenly light. We always anticipate summer nights out camping when we will be able to fully appreciate the majesty of the heavens.

Very nice - love the picture you chose to accompany your poem.
I thought the first and second lines complemented each other but wonder if jewelled and opulence are too similar. Nature's opulence or God's opulence (as you are using the word heavens). Just a thought - take no notice as it is a lovely poem.

Hi JMF, You must be in a really beautiful area that is away from a large town or city. My parents have a summer place in such an area, it's a place where you can see it all when the stars come out... so pretty.
