What an uplifting message, reminds me that "Faith without works is like no Faith at all"...There is much to be learned as we study the word of God, but the lessons taught must become a true part of our lives...God, is Love...truly in a world filled with so much distraction, its our loving God that allows His lessons to really become a part of our lives...I enjoyed this poem, and its message, Thanks for sharing...Blessings...

Hi Victoria, I have decided to read the entire bible straight through...I have a friend his knowledge of the words in the bible is amazing...now as I read when I don't understand something...I just read him a few lines...and he can tell me the entire story...it truly helps me understand what I am reading...I just told Roy...the Bible is our autobiography...it is path we are suppose to be talking...and when it's over...if done right...there is eternal life...but just reading isn't good enough...you have to walk the walk...and God wants us to show that amazing love he has to us...to all...lately my pastor has been yelling the words out...LOL...so I'm on my way...thank you for a wonderful review sweet girl...and Blessing to you as well...and you are so welcome...love Linda xxoo

Yes Linda, it's true, belief, like faith is active and alive, combined with love, is something that's done, as James says, "I will show my faith by my works" of course it's the faith that saves, but the works spring from the faith. Hi Roy, it's to know the words...they are what made me want to prove my love to Him...there is someone who put on that path...I think I was jealous of his knowledge of the Bible...I could get stuck...and read a few lines to him...and he would tell me the entire story I was reading...it really helped me understand what I was reading...so I decided I was going to read the entire Bible for myself...and as I read...I found there is so much more to the Bible than I ever thought there was...and he told me that as well...the words are not just words...they were written to be our journey in life...obeyed...to learn of Jesus/God...the Bible is meant to be our autobiographies...and at the end...our eternal lives...I will always be grateful to the guy who put me on the right track of faith...and for the amazing love of Jesus...thank you my sweet friend for a wonderful review...blessings to you as well...love Linda xxoo

It's somewhat difficult for an atheist like myself to make a constructive comment about Godley things sometimes, but to know that you feel as if acknowledging your god is the same as saying 'I love you' is quite lovely.
Meaning it, when we say this to someone we adore must come from deep within us, otherwise, as you rightly say, it means nothing at all. I believe you do love your god very much indeed.

I do try to do good things. For example, I welcome the homeless for Sunday dinners if the weather's particularly bad and hand them a freshly laundered towel to take into the bathroom so that they can take a hot shower.
I support kids in other countries to better their education and I most certainly don't hold a grudge against those fleeing their countries and wanting to settle elsewhere on the is earth of ours.
So I may not have any Gods, but to be frank, I wouldn't want one.
It divides me from my fellow man...

Hi Melissa, how are you doing my sweet friend...been listening to the pastor at church...and he has been pressing on Jesus amazing love for us...and Jesus wants us to share that same love...not to carry anger and hate in our hearts...to walk His words...so I'm working on it....LOL...there are a few He has got to let me have...LOL...He knows I love Him...and now knows how loyal I am to Him...thank you wonderful girl for all your lovely stars...and a wonderful review....love you...Linda xxoo
