Hello Raven... I really like your poem. It's true, some things are just lip service and lies. When you say you're going to do something, you should do it. Not saying you will over and over and over again and continue to come up with excuse after excuse why you can't. You can't profess to live by the word of God and fill your house with statues and pictures of Jesus and hold on to every little wrong ever done to you with an iron grip. I haven't read very far into the Bible yet but I do recall the part about NO false idols and forgiveness. Well, I always knew about the forgiveness... lol But you're right, you need to do what you can for those you can, while you can. Lip service is just that... nothing more.

It's good to believe as long as you're not preaching to every single person you meet. Sometimes you just have to be a good person and hold the door open for someone or do a good deed. I believe in God but I don't think I'll ever live up to His words. Someone told me that they were afraid of dying but that they were afraid to meet God/Jesus. I thought that was crazy until they told me they'd have to account for the things they've done. I've never been scared to meet Him. Lets go! He can ask me questions and I can finally ask my questions. It's all about your heart.

Hi Meghan, you can stand in one place and yell at the top of your lungs...I believe...I believe...but if it?s not true...God will know...it doesn?t matter whose preaching His words...and I don?t care how many doors you hold...or good deeds you do....if you don?t believe true...God will be the judge...not me...and there is no reason to be scared of Him....He is love unconditionally....and it is all about what is in your heart....for Him....and no one is perfect....but God will judge if our efforts are true....we are forgiven of our sin through Jesus....it all goes down to the love will show Him we have for Him...and He will know....it not about trying to preach to every single person you meet....but God asks us the spread His love....love they neighbor....thank you so very much...love Linda xxoo

Such words of truth and this is the problem the world struggles with. To say we are a Christian and to really be a Christian is two different things. To believe in God does not make us a Christian. Satan believes and knows for sure that God is real but that does not make him a Christian. The first commandment we must obey is the greatest commandment we must obey. That is to love God first and foremost or nothing else matters. When we love something the most we give it our very best. Thanks for sharing, God bless.
