Good job! Not only did you convey humor but you told a story in those few syllables - that's not easy. The picture was spot on. Good luck in the contest

Dear Anonymous Poet,

LOL - I know it's not really funny - but I feel the exact same way about water aerobics. (I am lucky in that my hair is naturally straight and I don't have frizz sticking out, but the half-hour, or hour, simply doesn't go fast enough. I have to stay in the water long after everyone has left. I don't want them to see how my legs are shaking.

Well, you succeeded mightily! This is a riot! The perfect countdown to misery. I felt every line. I did lose a lot of weight in water aerobics, though. Just sayin'. A fine contender for the contest.

I love this. So people have aversions to exercise. You take it one step further. You put yourself in a bathing suit and jump in cold water with others. That is quite the nightmare. When I take my grandchildren swimming, I find myself donning a knee length cover up. I look ridiculous in the water, but I feel less embarrassed.

Even though an aversion is not funny... for some reason, I wanted to laugh at your capitalized TREAD. ... I translated it to mean DREAD. Lol. Thanks for a good one to read today.
