helpful suggestions for your thirty syllable contest, just one thing look at the this line--You critque and the spelling of critique.

I can't imagine this writing site without reviews. I also couldn't count the number of times that suggestions were offered that saved my bacon... as well my entry not being disqualified. You have good rhyme and rhythm that makes for a good read. Good luck in the contest.

Well.... here is a critique. I enjoyed it.... But as we all know, I must give you 150 words. Now, with this topic that you have chosen.. one that concerns us all.. I find it hard to criticize poetry that answers all of the requirements, ( which yours did ~ 30 syllables) and has a subject that is relevant here on FS. I will say it again... I enjoyed it.

This was a very creative way to use your 30 syllables. I'm not real enthralled with the artwork you chose to accompany the poem. Good luck in the contest.
