That was a great poem. It was beautiful to see a Timmy wanting to help his mother clean. Even though he tried to clean the toilet with a toothbrush. It was cute because he was just a child. Beautiful and well written poem!

You are one weird chick.
Germs that clean their teeth?
Do germs even have teeth?
Up early on Saturday?
You didn't mention school. Do germs not go to school?
Why would you even think of something like this?
Wanna have coffee?

Oh, yuk! But that's kids for you and you can't be angry because he thought he was helping - the sycophantic little bleeder - so you just have to buy another brush for your teeth, after you have been quietly sick. Just make sure the new brush is an identifiably different colour, and tell Timmy that if he wants to be really helpful he can do it everyday provided he always uses the same brush.

Thanks for your kind review, Jim. I'm sure that Mom will need a new brush and a place to put it where helping hands won't grab it aand clean the litter box. LOL

Oh, my - had to swallow after this one. Kids are so precious and never met microbe they didn't like. I kept my toothbrush in a locked cabinet after I caught my son brushing kitty to make her all smooth! Delightful -

I think a lot of people will be heading out to the store in search for a new toothbrush after reading your story. Your ending has me squirming, jiggling, wiggling, and laughing. Well done.

Ok now am going to the store to get a new tooth brush just in case. A fun read and a complete story in one hundred words. Good luck with this one.

Bleuch, yuck! Funny and entertaining, this truly is a complete story in 100 words, albeit with a rather unpleasant ending. Please tell me this hasn't really happened to you, lol.

Just one pick-up_
'squirmed, jiggled (,) and wiggled in the warm' - no need for comma in brackets.

No, this is fiction, but my kids did a bunch of goofy stuff like this. Thank you for your great review and suggestion for the punctuation. I was taught the comma is optional before the and when in a list?

Hi there,

Very nice little piece you've crafted here and I can just see this playing out. I wonder how many times it's happened unbeknownst to parents... a lot I reckon. lol

Best of luck in the comp.

Well, there are two major pieces of truth in this story. One, that children are adorable and full of controversial ideas. And second, that being a mom is a more traumatic and disgusting experience than one would think :))
Great job fitting it all in 100 words!

Aaaaaaaaah,

This certainly made me feel something. The end line was shocking enough to awaken all my defense mechanisms. I enjoyed reading this and I thought you did a great job.

Sincerely,
Yuna.
