I love a good Tyburn. This is a great Tyburn - very good subject matter as well - I love the fact that baseball - has you so riled up. Also NW Indiana huh? Well does Hammond and Hessville ring a bell? My father was raised there - and I had family there for many years - a church that my uncle ran was in Hessville. Just curious. Anyway - I loved your poem. Good luck in the contest.

I love a good Tyburn. This is a great Tyburn - very good subject matter as well - I love the fact that baseball - has you so riled up. Also NW Indiana huh? Thank you for sharing. Robert Frost once said, "Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words." It would seem to me this continues to ring true; in this case, as a passion for sports. I especially enjoy poems that include information where I can learn something. I have never heard of this form before, but I wish you luck in the contest you have entered!

My husband is a big Yankee fan and his birthday is near the opening of Spring training. I keep wanting to take him to see some spring training for his

This one is a great entry for the contest. You tell it just like it really is at most baseball games. I used to be a pitcher in little league baseball. Oh! how I miss those days.
