A very well-written list about all the things you love to eat, read, do, say, and sing. I am not a list maker, I just do whatever comes first and enjoy what I do until it is finished.

If I have to be honest, I feel a little left out (own fault) by this one. At some point a few decades ago, life seems to have been truly happening. Now things are all about who's pregnant, who's showed the most arse & tits with a see-through gown at the Golden globe and who's the latest man caught (now or long ago) brushing his shoulder on a lady chest while pulling out the chair for her in a restaurant...
I give up.

Don't give up, as long as you're still breathing there is hope. I'm sure you can devise some good lists of your own. Please feel free to add some of your own. Thank you for reading and reviewing my work.

I found this list very interesting.
I particularly liked the saying --It's not burned, it's extra crispy. And also the one about life not being fair. I had never heard it before.
Thanks for sharing.

This is a fret list. I enjoyed reading it. You covered a lot of time with the events mentioned. I remember, or have read, about all of them. Your favorite artists have produced some awesome songs. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Hey Earl, This is looking like a fun thing. I'm not quite awake enough to be filling out forms and such just now though so I'm just going to tell you something to add to your list... Best Advice I've Ever Gotten... --"If you can't pay for it... you don't need it that badly." My father told me this after he paid off my credit cards, which I thought were exorbitant, (at all of about $1,500.00) when I wanted to go back to college. He then told me to get rid of them. I couldn't have any until I could pay for them myself. He gave me that little gem of advice and I just never got another card. I'm strictly a cash-and-carry girl.

You can't be English then, I don't know many English people who don't have mince pies on the Christmas supper table. In fact, I make them all year round. :))
This is another set of interesting lists, many of them I know and like, others I think are strictly American. It certainly made me think of things I would list. Hmm! Well done, I enjoyed reading this one. I'm off to write half a dozen limericks now! LOL! :) Sandra xx

Hi Earl,
Some good stuff here.
I'm not a big poetry buff, but I do happen to think that Eminem is a great poet wrapped up in the form of an entertainer. Not too everyone's taste but it's raw and real.
Pie's? Not into the sweet ones, I'm afraid but I do like a tasty Shepherds Pies.
Dolly Parton without a shadow of a doubt. very good actress too - love 'Best Little Whorehouse In Texas' - reading Burt Reynolds' auto-bio as we speak. I'm also partial to Carrie Underwood since she won Idol and Laurn Alaina.
Books on a desert island - definitely How to Build a Raft...
nice stuff

Well, Earl, I certainly can't say I don't know anything about you ;0) I do have one question tho..in your list of Historical Events for the MLK Assassination, you wrote See Number 5...it's number 5; I'm guessing you meant #4-the RFK Assassination, no cartoons?
Also, maybe you should have a list of your favorite shiny things...like Anna's Diamond Earrings she won in your Foxworthy fiasco? :o)))))
Very interesting!
