Lots of lists are lining up, loading this lengthy letter with loquacious lists which lead us believe there will be more --lists.

I am enjoying these. It's a lot of fun. Some I can definitely relate to. I've still got tapes and vinyl myself, but I wouldn't drink out of the hose. The water tastes like rubber.

Another humorous addition to your lists book, Earl! Enjoyed the advice to army wives especially!
Shouldn't the additions be done as a separate chapter like Robyn's book?

One typo: "were great for excercising " (exercising) Now ipods and bluetooth have made things so much easier still!

The additions should be done as separate chapters but some people aren't dinding the add chapter button and sending their submissions to me directly. Rather than lose the info I'm adding it with my next submission. Thanks for catching that typo. I appreciate you taking the time to read and review my work.

Great job Earl, I enjoyed these lists, they were amazing but very truthful answers, I have lived through many of these. I also appreciated the add on's from other members. A great deal of information was covered.

You are most welcome Earl. I will pass on this opportunity so I do not repeat what others have written. Thanks though.

This thong is growing in leaps and bounds, Earl. Just curious..what do you teach in school? I find that very interesting indeed. I will add something after a while. Just kinda watching for now, if you don't mind: :) Bob

Fun posting. I enjoyed the variety of lists and found at least one thing in each that I related to. Vinyl LP's are making a comeback BTW. I've seen them in Barnes & Noble

I love it - this is all good stuff. I love the wife's tips. That is wonderful. They need to post that in the commissary. I know a few people who really could have learned from that! The songs everyone mentions are great! I love the fact that Schott put Heinlein in - it fits... LOL, I still have 75 long-playing records. Everything from Led Zeppelin to The Who, I also have over 300 cassette tapes and over 700 CDs that I will not part with. I am an audiophile! My dad was a musician and so music was a constant background in my life. I could never make a list, however, because there is no way for me to compare people who can create a craft that I cannot! I am still pondering if I can even come up with a list of books on a desert island. I think there are so many good ones to read. How do you discount one of the other - I just don't make these kinds of decisions well. I don't have a favorite color, or food or anything like that - I like multiples. I like choices. So my list would be very long. I love that you can narrow it down that is something I need to learn to do. However, when I moved from my home in Ohio in 2016 to come to Georgia I got rid of almost everything except my books and my music and some clothes and a few other necessities. I wanted to start fresh and rid myself of the clutter. What's funny about the 1st list - I never owned a single 8 track. Not one. Friends had them, but I didn't I guess I was lucky to not invest in the blip medium. Stayin' Alive is a great song too. I love the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack is was all I listened to at a certain age. Some of the stuff listed I have no idea what it is. I will investigate though because I am always about learning and getting more knowledge. Each time I see your list I glean something new! So thanks again for a wonderful post! Cheers, Fonda

Don't just research my stuff, develop your own and add them. You and I must be about the same era if you listened to the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. I actually won a poetry contest writing about disco, it's in my portfolio. I appreciate you taking the time to read and review my work.

This was a hoot and a holler! I would li,e to add, if you don't mind helping me. I am blind and can't see how to add to this. It makes no sense in this moment.
Books to read while stranded on a island:
--Les Miserables by Victor Hugo.
--Endurance by Alfred Lansing.
--Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
--Falling Up The Stairs by R.C. Hartson
--The Holy Bible, my large print version for sight-impaired.

Songs for traveling:
--Hillsong Worship, anything at all will do.
--Oldies: 60's and 70's like Carpenters, JamesTaylor, Jackson Brown, The Four Tops, Johnny Rivers, Van Morrison, Jackie DeShannon, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The Hollies, Joe Cocker and Jose Feliciano. Oh, and don't forget a little opera and classical music like the Canadian Tenors and Joshua Bell on violin. That should do it...I think.

Best sayings:
--What would you do if you had a real problem?
--This should be good.
--It's not burned, it's extra crispy.
--Excuse me, but...is the the actual price? Do I look like a millionaire to you?
--Gas pedal on the right, break on the left, man!
--Life is not fair. The fair comes around twice a year.
--Keeping the faith.

Hope this is not too much for you, Earl. Hopefully, you can just copy and paste.

All my best,
Sal
