The consonance of hurt/heart here is what makes this 5-7-5 stick in my mind. Although denied by many within FanStory consonance, this matching of consonant sounds regardless of the absence of a like vowel sound is a form of slant rhyme that is generally accepted among the poetic fraternity that write in the English language. It is good to see it exemplified here.
