I love the eagles and you've done a superb job describing this majestic bird. It does appear that they do own the skies soaring far above the landscape. I like this well written ode to eagles. Very nicely done Pam!

This is an excellent written Tanka, liked how your expanding and doing other formats of the Tanka, still ensuring it is stoll short, long, short, long, long.
You have mastered these Tanka form. Great picture of the nird with claws tucked away, flying through the air.

Yes, Janice. I think of the prey animal too. But their death is merciful compared to starving to death. Thank you for the great review
