Oh..wow. I have never heard that take before 'cuz I'm pretty sure that's something I'd have remembered! I do remember Streisand 's song from the sad, thought -provoking movie.....but, to your write here: How beautiful that you taken the take and compared it's melodic release to that of the pained Christian....the bird beautiful song finds its end in death while the Christian 's beautiful song finds its end in the everlasting comfort and life of their Savior! ;) Thank you for sharing, Beautiful Lady!! ;) :) Yvette

This is a beautiful verse high you have enhanced with added photos and songs. The photography you chose grabbed me at first and really set the tone for your words. Excellent poetry.

A very well-written poem about the thornbird that seems to only sing once in his lifetime when the thorn of the thorn bush penetrates its chest. It sings the most beautiful song.
