Does goldenrod bloom in England?
It blooms profusely here in northern Michigan, much to the chagrin of folks who are allergic to it. But I love it!

This poem expresses a deep melancholy caused by the return of winter over spring in full bloom. It is one of the better haikus that I have read. I really cannot offer suggestions for improvement. The form is correct, and the point is aptly taken. Very good!

Yes, it's that time of year. Very chilly today. Roses are sleeping. Have to wait until spring to hear those crickets sing again. Cycle of life. Lovely haiku.
