Love it. Love, love, love it. Brings back many fond memories. My little girls are a little too big to do that now but I have started with my granddaughters.

And congratulations on your win.

Congratulations on winning the contest it is a very well deserved win. It reminds me of my childhood when I danced on my Dad's feet just like the child in the well chosen picture. Well done. Best wishes Jen.

-Congratulations on the win, Karyn.
-A very nice image.
-I like your poem about
this little girl, so proud and
grown up to be dancing with her dad.

"Slow Dancing", is short, succinct and very much to the point. This talented poet's work brings back vivid memories of dancing on top of my father's shoes. This was so many years ago, but it feels like yesterday. To me, this is a six, but unfortunately, I only have fives left. I look forward to seeing your next post

I loved it. The picture goes along well and it is well written. Sometimes the shorter, Haiku, poems have more depth than the longer ones because they are short and sweet. Thank you for sharing!

This is such a wonderful poem for me because it was something I had done with my little girl. You have kept with the requirements of the contest. Your picture is good too. Here's wishing you the best for the contest.

This 3-5-3 about dance, Slow Dancing, has the right syllable count and reminds all dads of that magical time when he was the only dance partner that either one wanted. Great times.

This work has reached the exceptional level

I was never a little girl, but I still danced on my Daddy's shoes.
Hell, gender-identity shouldn't preclude closeness within a family.
You capture a moment that's precious to both participants.
And Johann Strauss thanks you, too.

Best of luck.

Peace, Lee

This is the sweetest poem in the contest. It created an image in my head that made me smile. Father and daughter dances are special... one that many girls only dream about. Good luck in the contest
