Thank you for the excellent review! I did not kill Catzilla, he died from pearl and lace consumption. He died by his own hands..I mean paws. You do sound very poetic in your accusation, but I present the facts. Death by consumption of non-food particles. Thanks for stopping by!
All my very best,
Sally the non-cat murderer

This is excellent wh a clever poem at the end. I love clever writing. It shows a good mind at work. I had a sister-in-law named Sally. Whenever I see your name I think of her.

Thank you Thomas for the excellent review of my writing and style. I am glad at my age to have a mind to write with! I had fun with this and personally needed a good laugh. I am glad I made so many FanStory readers laugh along with me and Catzilla.
All my best,
Sally
Comment from Donka Kristeva
I was intrigued because it was humour fiction and short. Hilarious! Its beginning is already a warning. The story becomes more engaging and funnier but what reads on the tombstone tops it all! "No cat heaven for him". Great humour

Any cat owner can relate to this. The cat waited for the perfect opportunity. Catzilla's epitaph was a perfect and unique ending for the piece. Good luck in the contest (I entered too:)

LOL! I can imagine that happening, they do love to claw at anything hanging, I've had a few dresses and a leather jacket ruined by my darling pets over the years. This is a really fun contest entry. Good luck! :) Sandra xx

Thank you Sandra for the excellent review and comments. I am amazed at how many people think this is real. I replied that Catzilla, although horrible, is a fictional cat of my imagination. Thank you for joining in the good fun! I think we need more laughter here on FanStory!
All my best to you and yours,
Sally

What I know about people and their pets, which I feel animals get more considerations than humans, they love them unconditionally. I had to check to see if this was really fiction. For a split second, you restored my faith in mankind.

Thank you for the excellent review! Yes, Catzilla is fiction, a character of my imagination. He died from ingesting the lace and pearls on my wedding dress train. This I do know about cats, they can die of fur balls. I am glad you could stop by today for the review and critique.
All my best?

You're welcome.

Hah!
Heinous describes this feline perfectly. Oh my goodness! Have owned many cats in my life. Loved them all. None ever ate wedding dresses, but one had the horrible habit of coming down with anxiety attacks when we left her alone. The floor registers never fully recovered.
Now...this may seem "picky," but I wonder if the situation would be a tad more believable if this feline of yours ate your protagonist's veil as opposed to the entire dress. Just a thought. Not a criticism...
Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the excellent review and comments! Tis the train of the dress that killed poor old Catzilla! Pearls, lace and all! At least in my imagination anyway. Remember this is flash fiction. I had fun with him and may do a sequel. Thanks for stopping by for a laugh!
All my best,
Catzilla?s former owner
