I was initially undeciding if to put magical or powerful.. saying sorry is not easy to say if said with sincerity.

I try to avoid having to say sorry in the first place [biggrin]

Yes I thought the gizzle puzzle depicted well a broken heart being mended too.

There were several options to choose from..I chose the shorter one 3-5-3 ..hopefully voters will consider that.

Hopefully I captured in those few words the meaning of the word ...Sorry ...

Apparently it's one of the hardest words to say ...( of course when meant truely) if it comes easy then most probably its doesn't come from the heart.

You're one-hundred-percent correct, and I wish more people realized that so simple a word can also men friendships. Too many fall by the wayside because people are to proud or foolish to say "I'm sorry." I wish you luck in the contest.

Sorries ,when meant truely, are not easy to say...because if it come from the heart one is also expected to back up their apologies with positive actions. Try to make amends over time. that has meaning.

I never meant to imply that "I'm sorry" is easy, but it's vital. I had a very close friend (in fact, she was one of my bridesmaids), and we broke off relations after a very bitter argument. Some 18 year later, she contacted me via social media and we met for what we feared would be a very awkward lunch. Instead, we spoke openly about what the other said that hurt us, found out there were simple misunderstandings, and each apologized very sincerely for the part we played. I'm thrilled to say we're now back to being very close friends, all thanks to a conversation and honest apologies. FYI, I'm sorry for my very foolish typo in my review: an apology can "mend" friendships, not "men" them.

Thank you for sharing ..I'm glad you were able to sort matters out with your long lost friend..18 years is a long time .

It's even sadder when a fallout is caused by some silly reason easily resolved but our pride gets the better of us.

Yes I unterstood it was a typo , it happens often to me when writing reviews too.
