Thanks once again, Debbie. It's funny. In my house, we have decided since we almost never have visitors (the outlaws being too old and frail to travel now), we have no real need for a permanent spare bedroom. So, I have been trying to decide for weeks now which is our "second best bed", to make room for a study. I am hopeless at the most trivial decisions!

With Mom living with us now, my daughter here for a year, my sister-in-law staying frequently, my son and fiancé visiting occasionally from New York, we need third and fourth beds at least. Or, hotel rooms.

Oh, that's so sad. I guess that relationship was that bad. I like how you used "Parthian shot" as naturally as one would saying, "parting shot," which doesn't sound quite as eloquent.

Yeah -- that definitely indicates that she was not even close to being in good graces...I mean, let's be honest here, it was rumored he was not sleeping with her in the marital way when he was alive, and here we have him making sure she STILL did not warm the sheets of his bed even after he was cold and dead!! :) I believe the reaction to that kind of a 'parthian' would be: "daaaayum!" :) :)
