Nicely worded. I've always liked the term "love light" in your eyes. I think there are some old songs about this. Stunning image to accompany your poem. Marilyn

My mind turned to old songs as well when I read the word-of-the-day. Many thanks, Marilyn. Cheers -- Craig

Excellent warning! It's a very dangerous slope sometimes, especially with the possibility of ill-intentioned or even unintentional results from transitory infantuations.

Long is the way and hard, that out of Hell leads up to light. Don't know why I was thinking Milton, but maybe paradise is lost?

A most clever way to introduce your compound word friend, Craig.

Most enjoyed. :)

Your 575 sums up the feeling some have about love-esp love at first sight, Craig. Good job on the style of the 575. Your picture is a great pairing with your well-chosen words. Thanks for sharing. Jan

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about the light in a lover's eyes that tells us the other is interested and then the sparks on both sides ignite. Sometimes it rains or thunders but the light seldom goes out.

Yeah, and who knows? It could just be that funny-smelling cigarette she smoked just before the photo was taken....! :) :) Have a great day, sir, and thanx for sharing! :) Yvette :)

I enjoyed this poem, because I think it's very clever. Where there is light, there will be shadows, and you want to watch out for them. If you stay in the light, you can see where you're going :-) for some reason, I like the use of the word treacherous, maybe because it means certain Danger, and we don't always see that when things are going great.

That's very true, Tina. When we are happy is the time we need to be most careful. Cheers, Craig

Excellent! When love is based on desired and attachment, then the pendulum can just as easily swing to hate, fear, jealousy, etc. However, in unconditional compassionate love, there are no shadows! Only light. (As long as it is sincere, that is!)

Love-light is a great word.

Well voiced.

Warmly, rd
