And only 'please' because she gripes

What a perfect use of the 2-4-2 poetic form. It's so concise that it is clever. You say tons in these 8 syllables. In my mind, this is how you do the 2-4-2 poem. And, I know who Xanthippe is now. I don't know what is being poured on Socrates's head, but that is another issue.

It doesn't look good, does it? Thanks for the kind comments, Debbie. Much to my surprise, a number of people seem to have been quite put out by this one. Apart from writing a poem which said "a hen-pecking woman is a myth", I don't know where this could have gone. We're all so serious!
