Icy rime....makes me want to google ...I'm not sure what rime means but it seems to fit
Love this poem ..I also wish changing rhymed with banging...I love onomatopoeia

We associate autumn with cold breeze and short season because right after we see snow on the ground and immediately we say winter is here! Winter is here! I wish autumn could of lasted longer. - Anntonette

The colored leaves invite the reader to a poetic and quiet poem.
The following lines tell the story:
First stanza: ...dreamy slumber/sleepy morning/in November
Second stanza:... the puddle below/rainy evening/in November
Third stanza:... chilliness into white cold/frosty night/in November
I like your poem. Reading it, one senses winter coming. Thank you for sharing.

A very well written Trinet poem about Autumn with great descriptions. I feel like I'm there with the thunder rolling, drizzle falling, the softly pitter patter of raindrops, the branches banging and the breezes changing all on a November night.
