A very well-written Senryu with a very true statement. Our little children grow up too quickly, and we have to saviour the moments we have them while they are still small.

Very nice visual. Senryu poems are usually humorous or satiric, but that wasn't in the rules for the contest and you did follow those rules. I like that complete thoughts were used on each line and that no phrases were cut in the middle. I also like the sentiment of the write. Thank you for promoting your entry. Good luck!

This is not only is it a great example of 5-7-5 poem, but the picture emits such Joy and happiness. -- and the message, to relish each moment we are given, is so important.

Words to live by. My wife and I raised to sons. The only advice I give new parents is to enjoy and savor each stage. They grow so quick and you can't get it back. Excellent. Hugh
