Yes, if she heard any of that, you would surely be in big trouble. I can remember the struggle for power in our marriage. There were many times when I looked at my husband when he talked about 'we' or 'I' when he wasn't the author of the story.
But, it all turned out well. He owns the house and cars on paper, and I give him permission to use them,

I took a different approach the first time. I found a woman I didn't like and gave her most of everything I owned. Round 2 is working out much better so far, after 18 years or so ;-)

Excellent. I do like this one a lot. I do like a man who shares responsibility for himself, realizing he's part of the twosome who makes the mess. That being said, women have emasculated men to the point where they don't know which way to hop and that's a shame on us. Marilyn

Life for people in general can be confusing these days. Sometimes it seems so much simpler thinking back to my parents' time. Still, what if we had the choice to go back? As the old saying goes, we'd need to worry about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Thanks again for the kind words.

A very well-written poem about a polly in the cottage that simply means a man that like to help around the house. The modern man of today are more willing to help out in the house than the older generation.
