Good one. LOL! Many times I have the "whoopsies" and the object hits the floor. All okay as long as it isn't me hitting the floor. I like your new word--"ambilaevous." I think many of us suffer from right not knowing what the left is doing. Marilyn

Oh boy, when you really think about this one, it causes all kinds of problems, but I guess that is the reason why it's linked up with Matthew 6:3. Lucky thing too or I'd still be trying to figure out what is means. ;-)

Great job, Craig and best of luck to you in the contest, as long as it's the right hand contest.

Gloria

Thanks very much, Gloria. Most grateful for your comments, as always. It doesn't matter much if I don't win the contest. I would just clumsily spill the spoils everywhere, and never see a cent of it :) Cheers, Craig

Lol. That's a good one. But word is so curious as I found various meanings for it and the alternate spelling of ambilevous. I do think equally left-handed sounds correct (if you're right-handed).

https://www.dictionary.com/browse/ambilevous
Seems to say it's like ambidextrous.

https://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/ambilevous
seems to simply say unable to use both hands with equal dexterity.

Those medical types always like to make everything as boring as possible, Helen. I like my definition ;-)

Many thanks for the informative review.

Hi, Craig,

LOL! I do believe this is a term that accurately describes me. Despite my ability to create some things - I am sorely bad at simple chores that others do - making ribbons, knitting, crocheting - and it all comes down to my inability to make my hands and fingers do what I want them to do. (Though I type about 100 WPM.)

You need to spend a little time with my other half, Patty. She is a crafting machine (in spite of being incredibly clumsy when she doesn't have a crochet hook or knitting needle or pot and spoon in her hand!) She can also type at (I think) around 120 wpm at 98+% - in full nails! Then again, she shows no inkling to ever do anything super-creative, like writing ;-) Most grateful, Craig

Craig, This is a very well written 5-7-5 poem you have penned for the contest. You used very good words and very good imagery with the art work. I think both of mine are clumsy at times too! Blessings, Teri

I take comfort from the fact that I'm not the clumsiest person in my household, Teri; but trust me -- that's not saying a lot!

Many thanks for the lovely review :) Craig

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem with a valuable lesson in life. When we do good to others don't look for praises and acknowledgement for your good deeds. God will bless your good deeds hundred fold.

Thanks very much, Sandra. Agreed, altruism works best without thought of reward.

This is a great way to explain that unusual word, Craig. The picture choice I perfect, too. Good job on the correct syllable count. I like how you tied it to the Bible verse. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Aaah - a truly fantastic poem, and a wonderful word. I admire the way you have drawn the bones of this from the Bible - and then the way you have made it your cheeky own. I truly hope this wins the contest!
