This is really great. Often when I pray, I go off to myself and shout. Just a private shouting match between God and I. When I do usually Gods answer come back loud and clear. I thought I was the only one who did this.

Nice picture for this work up for the poem I wonder though why he is praying out in the open square? I wonder if they do that in a lot of places in other countries?

This is a good contest entry, kahpot. You used the words as required in 3 lines as required, too. Your lines read smoothly with a great message. The picture is a nice pairing with your words. This is the best I've read in the contest. Best wishes. Jan

Hello Kahpot, As required, all six writing prompt words were used, and you've kept the 40-word format written in three lines. Your message is clear and thought-provoking, especially:
why does man speak in whispers, when contacting his God in prayer,
(Excellent observation of mankind.)
As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. LateBloomer

Hi kahpot. This seems like a good entry for the contest I am not religious. Agnostic. Again meter is not a factor in this poem which is OK. it is free verse. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

that is such a puzzling thought, kahpot. is it that man is unsure? or is it the quiet and private nature of faith. a great entry in the God whispers contest............meeshu

Thank you, friend, I took from paying, which is all in silence, prayers are individual and personal, though God is for everyone and his words are loud and heard by everyone, I think I was trying to help myself understand a bit better****kahpot
