I can relate to this poem about dreams. I believe God places the visions for our future within us. And you've expressed the idea quite well that we will find out about ourselves when we listen to God's plans and purposes for us. You have a great talent for giving the reader much to think about.

The scriptures are awash with evidences of God appearing and revealing Himself to His people in dreams. This happens till this day. I am a good example as almost all of my dreams come to pass. Thanks for sharing your well thought-after poem. Lol!

This is a fascinating and thought-provoking read.
I totally agree that God speaks/whispers to those who believe and opens ears to hear what the spirit has to say. I am a true believer because He has spoken to me.
