First of all...I hope this review finds you in the best of health, and in the highest of spirit. I hope you are having a cheerful day. Franca, I've read about your life's story here...but I am going to have to read it several more times before I can,"SEE," ....what you are trying to show me here. And I intend to do just that. I was raised in a small village too.
It was populated a lot like yours...about 500 people. "Small world...huh?" Our school was a small white attractive hut having only 4 classrooms, and only 1 teacher for each of them. The name of our rural town was, "Whitesboro," But interestingly only Afro-American people lived there. So...We're both raised in small villages. WOW. We, "DO," have something in common. Franca, I'm running out of space for writing here. But I'll never run out of space in my heart, for your company. I, "WILL," write again. God bless you and yours, Franca. Cordially: rhonnie69.

This reminds me of my home. I live in the Rocky mountains in the US at 3,100 meters. Mine is also a very small town that is filled to bursting in the summers.
I love how well you describe everything. It makes me want to come visit.
I can't tell you how sorry I am that you had to move away. You've obviously made a tremendous sacrifice. I pray you'll be able to return to your wonderful home in your lifetime.

I just finished looking at some pictures of the Rocky Mountains .. They are massive and beautiful ..and the lakes ..I love the blue /green colour.
My papa was born in a valley called Valtellina..it's right at the foot of the Alps ..they have beautiful vineyards growing there and there are also several lakes very similar to Bear Lake.
Often at night in my mind I go through the streets of my village ..I don't want to forget .
I do appreciate your thoughtfulness and wish you all the best too.

Yes it's a peaceful place surrounded by pine woods and huge chestnut trees.
The 15 of August is the biggest national holiday in Italy ..the town will be in "festa" with flolkore music and lots to eat in the main square.
If you ever find your way to Italy try and find time to come and visit Lake Maggiore and the islands.
Just above my village there is also a lovely botanic garden and a breathtaking view of the lake .

A couple of months earlier,in Spring, the swallows return to mate. They winter in the warmer weather of Southern Africa , near the Sahara. It's considered a blessing and a sign of good fortune if they choose to set up family under your balcony.
Their tuneful cries break the morning silence while the smell of fresh bread makes its way through the narrow cobbled streets of the old part of town where I live...wow, I was mesmerised by this. Truly exceptional. You took me on a journey in exceptional and gorgeous detail and I was totally swept away. Fantastic and well worth a six love and regards Meia xx

Every day I think of my swallows , their cheerful siniging and that delicious smell of fresh bread ...I know it's a simple life compared too many other but I miss it .
I'm home sick but my hope is that I will get back home soon.
