Now that's a fun word! I think that should also apply to TV shows, Youtube videos as well as plays. Fun poem and it got me wondering if you were referring to anyone here? Lol. No, don't tell me.

This is very good. It sounds like some of us here on FanStory who write while in a rut. Your poem rhymes well and it educates the reader to a new word which is used in the last line very well. Marilyn

This word has a really nice ring to it, Sardoodledom. It sounds like one of those multi-purpose words, you know, his explanation sounded like sardoodledom or where shall we go for lunch? How about sardoodledom? We haven't been there in a while.

That said, terrific poem and pity about those trivial works for theatre, but I guess entertainment serves a purpose.

Much enjoyed, Craig.

Gloria

Hi Craig. This is charming. But I think tweedledom is missing in action. Smile. I had no idea what it meant. I have not been to the theater in years. I had a friend who acted in the late seventies and early eighties. Nicely metered as always Craig. Thank you for sharing

Craig, this is a very cute poem you have penned about Sardoodledom. Until today I have not heard of that word. You used very good words and the appropriate art work to go with your words. Thanks for sharing. blessings, Teri

Hi, Craig,

Ah, yes. Characters who are contrived for a special purpose - but they do not have much other value. I think any story with a large cast of characters has at least one - they are only there for one purpose.

A great use of your new word - which I never would have suspected meant anything even remotely like this,

~patty~

If you'd asked me before I read the definition, I'd have had not a clue. Many thanks, Patty :) Craig

Not a word I would ever use in everyday conversation, but certainly fun to say!! It even sounds like something Mary Poppins would have come up with! :) :) As always, I am enjoying these -- thank you for the smile today, sir! :) :) Yvette

I truly love this one and have just the person I know that I want to spring this one on, he will love it. Nicely done in explaining the new word for us to learn.

Thanks for the very kind words, Barb. I hope he's not a playwright - or at least if he is, he's a good one :) Most grateful, Craig

This speaks about the art and practice of your friend who writes charming plays having good plots and characters hail from old Sardoodledom; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR
