loved this. good meter and you kept the "lesson" going in verse. very good. Also, perfect picture accompanying it - probably from your book? And how is that coming - the stories you're writing from it?
"sign manual" means?
What he says sounds realistic. very good.

    Hi :)
The picture just came from a Google search. As for the meanings - they are always in the author notes underneath the poem.

Thank you for the very kind comments, and the wonderful rating. I'm very grateful for both.

Yes! A history lesson in acrostic form. This is really going to stick with me and an important event like the magna carta should always be presented so well.

Great job, Craig. Most enjoyed.

Hi Craig. I do not know the geography of Runnymede. But, of course, I know about the signing of the magma carta. Our constitution is based on it. Right now trump is shredding our constitution and cowardly tepunlicans are afraid to do their job of oversight. He is mafioso and also a Putin puppet and wants to be dictator for life. Two republicans who spoke against him lost their reelection bids because they spoke against him. A real bully. Thank you for sharing

    A bully and a dim-wit. A really dangerous combination.

Many thanks for the great review, Pam.

I was thinking about the manga carta today,,. Wat Tyler and his revolt and the plague as well as barons put pressure on an evil king.
Well penned new word ...I love learning in here, sign-manual
God bless

We then spend out life signing manual's by signing our life away to banks and authorities in our commitment to live in today's society, maybe it all started with the Magna Carta? An interesting write, love Dolly x

How fun! I like your imaginative historical poem. I read recently that the ink which was used to sign the Magna Carta was made from oak tree gall plus iron sulfate.

A very well-written acrostic poem. It is very dangerous to leave only one person in control of all other people and country where they can manipulate and control everything and everyone must comply to his rules.

You are rocking these acrostic poems today. Nice even numbered lines. Thanks for the history lesson. I bet the barons want more power. Some folks are never satisfied and want more. I'm sorry to be out of sixes today.
