My mother in law is gluten free and we just learned that my husband is too. I have an amazing, gluten free, cookie recipe. And I make some amazing salsbury steak (from scratch) that's out of this world good. Chicken is good if cooked right, then you just add some gluten free rice and beans with it. Frozen custard is always a good choice, but like ice cream, you gotta check to see if it is gluten free. If you wanna compare recipes let me know. We still have our gluten filled days but he makes sure he has the next day off. There are some things like a good frozen pizza that are hard to give up.

Hi Sankey, a very interesting piece of what it means to be wheat intolerant. I love that your wife is being so supportive, so she even go on the special diet.
As we have mentioned in other places, there was the necessary Pre-Admission Clinic which Louise accompanied me to, ... = always comma before 'which'.
I enjoyed reading. All the best. Ulla:))

Thanks, Ulla I saw another one of those somewhere else but I fixed it probably a wrong key hit by accident thanks. I always get a bit nervous about comma's as Grammarly often gets it totally wrong.

I'm sorry to hear about all of your problems. It's one of the drawbacks of getting older, but it's better than the alternative. There are lots of gluten-free products out there and the internet is full of gluten-free recipes. Gluten-free food is not expensive if you make it yourself. I've always said people can eat like a gourmet if they make it themselves.

Yeah Bro making it ourselves is a good idea. Let you know when the Gluten-Free Date and Walnut Loaf gets made including GF Flour and SR Flour. So sorry I have missed your story. Appreciate you coming back for a look as well. All as a result of some suggestions for a cure of Writer's Block!

Hello, Mate. Long time between reviews, eh? But I was away for th longest time as you know. Bless you form all of your attention while I was among the missing, my friend.

Sorry about your allergy to gluten. My grandson has to be on that diet too.

Incidentally, you may have found your mark with this "Geoff's
ramblings. I think it's a great concept and leaves you open to discuss anything you want. Good job. Take care and eat a ton of Cheerios. They are Gluten free. Bob

Thanks Bob. I started reviewing your new novel but I hate the way (especially on cell or mobile) how we lose what we started if FS says not enough. Thanks mate. God bless😊

Sorry, Geoff. I don't know what you mean??? Bob

When we start a review we are asked to add more detail for the review to go through. Unfortunately, especially on cell or mobile, what we already wrote is lost. Much harder replacing all that. Good chapter will do the review again when we get home. I might see if Tom can fix, bur I know I have had the problem before.

I'm sorry to hear that Geoff, particularly all the goodies you have to avoid, there is a strong prevailance for this type of affliction in modern society, because, I think of genetically modified growing of grain products, which apparently reduces nutrition in these products, blessings, Roy

Thanks for including the photograph of Nurse Louise! I have been gluten-free for nine years, since I have autoimmune diseases. There are many more reasonable and tasty options these days, such as gluten-free pastas, and then there are always the naturally available gluten-free fruits and vegetables. Best wishes making the adjustment gradually- Joan

Good point of course. Fortunately in Australia as a Disability Pensioner I get "Bulk Billed" ie Medicare pays most of the costs. Thanks old friend for coming by.

This is a "nicer" picture and an easier read than the one I read half an hour ago or so, Sankey.

Great this time to know you are okay healthwise, following all that other disturbing story. The interesting thing is that we learn from these stories.

Wish you all the best!

Thanks friend. I hoped this Coeliac story might be a help to someone. I will miss all the nice goodies but I guess if I have to give them up for my health's sake then so be it. Thanks for coming by.
