Hi, This was a good read. I came by here as I am doing a final Promotion of my autobiography and I was looking through reviews. I am preparing an Acknowledgement page to thank all my reviewers. Look for The Little Dog That Wouldn't Let go if interested in catch8ing up on some later chapters. Great artwork as well.

It's not easy running marathons and I only did one when I was twenty-two, I had sore feet and it took me a week to eat over it! The famous fun run in Sutton close to where I live will be held next week, your write reminded me of this, love Dolly x

My husband attempted a marathon several years ago. I don't think he repeated the experience. It's admirable that those like Euan can finish the race, regardless of how they place. You must have been interested if you helped sponsor Rene. In your second paragraph, you get off track a bit by such details as they've probably finished dinner by now and your brain infarctions. You might omit them. Luan would probably be interested to know that you had a tape of the race. judi

Youth has a bad habit of biting off more than they can chew. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is very good imagery.

Hi there,
Marathon's are certainly quite an achievement. I've done a couple of half ones but never the full hike. Too much hard work and I'm really built for shorter distances. lol
Not very eciting to watch either I agree.
