This two-three-two poem, Smiles After Tears, has the right set up and names that extra joy we all feel when our kids are happy, safe, and all smiles. Nice.

What parent can not feel the intent of this poem. To this one, and a reader, it goes right to my core. That is one of the prime attributes a parent must have, pride in his children's joy and outlook on life. Your short poem and very descriptive picture say it all and nothing has to be added. Well done.

This 2-3-2 vividly states how most parents define "Joy." I know this is what it is to me, even now as a grandparent. So much conveyed in only six words.

What a lovely poem and the magnanimous imagery it awakens. The reader even without child will be drawn in. Even if it is the smile they see on the face of a facebook friend's child. They will share in your joy. The reader will remember, yes I was smiling while savoring the glowing countenance of that child. this reminder may help the reader feel happiness anew. Thank you. Well expressed.

You hit that one truly on head.
A child's smile is glorious, and when that child happens to bve your own adored and cherished one, then the smile just breaks your hearl in a million sweet ways.
