Such a clever 1-6-1 with an adorable picture! Great rhymes of spied-side-hide. And a wonderful description of what the little frog was doing underside the flower. Congratulations!

This 1-6-1, Hide, uses the allowed syllables and required rhyme to show us one of the many surprises that await the perceptive seeker.

Perfect response to the photo of the frog hiding beneath the flower. Seems nature can offer us a thousand inspirations each day. What a fun 1-6-1 poem you have written.

There's the one, the six and the one and they rhyme, and taken with the art, it makes sense. Should be a valid entry for that contest prompt.

This is whimsical and clever. I love the picture - speaks volumes! The poem is a perfect pairing with it. Did you find the picture first? Fine rhymes. Good flow. A great entry, with no nits, but I do have suggestions (optional) that I feel would improve it.

1) don't cap line two, since it continues the sentence from line one:

Spied
down on the underside
Hide

2)

Consider using punctuation to sculpt dramatic pause effect further:

Spied
down on the underside.
Hide.

Or, parenthesis could also work with a subtler pause effect:

Spied
down on the underside.
(Hide!)

Just a thought.

You captured the poor frog's POV well~

Good luck!

Warmly, rd

This is a good entry for the 1-6-1 Poem writing prompt.
Your short verse is nicely matched by the picture.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.
