The photo was chosen well, but it is really eerie--which is perfect for your message! Yet if we have faith and know we are safe it shouldn't be too scary. The poem's title is soft and sweet and I like that as you begin to read the words, you notice that you can choose the darkness or the light. I'll stick to the light. Thank you for sharing your deep thoughts on the rapture. They are very well written.

Stay in the light, there's something in the dark. I think the picture is of a dog, my intent merely to show anger. Thanking you for your generous rate and touching views.

Great job of bringing reality to the place where things hide not to be seen. I like it and it makes a person think. I wonder if I should dig up the kitchen sink and keep it ready. Thanks for sharing.

A very well-written thought-provoking poem. We have no defense against the stranger that invades our premises in the darkest night to take our possessions without harming us is a blessing in itself.

Very contemporary style..

Not always easy to follow...

A vampire? A nightmare?

Oh.

The Rapture....

Wish you'd introduced that sooner.....

A dark, dark vision of faith....

Interesting! This poem could have a double meaning. Could be speaking of a re-birth asking resident if he or she is ready for a renewal or arrival of the Lord. Of course, could be actually speaking of an invader breaking into one's house. WELL DONE. liberty justice

This speaks about one silent night, home invasion, no chance to escape or relief? Thoughts of the forthcoming rapture continue all night; well worded, well done. KEEP WRITING, INSPIRE CHANGING -DR ALCREATOR

This was a good poem on a dark topic. Your words were very descriptive I felt like I was.there in the moment, and I think that's what good works are supposed to do.

Hello, this was good. A bit creepy at the end, that final line wrapping it all up very nicely. I'm afraid a thief wouldn't get very far in our house. All the alarms would go off and scare them away, hopefully. Nice picture, which accentuates the mood of the poem. I noticed no errors, it read flawlessly, and thanks for sharing it, Ana.
